Now though, i understand i need to rely on recruiting units here and there to build my army right? This sounds rather worrying gold wise both for gold upkeep (you can’t use allfire to get more gold as you could for mana as necro) and acquiring strong units from cities (which to me seem to be one of the only way to get strong units in that scenerio at least early on) sounds really expensive and unattainable… Thanks for the tips ! Workers/units with the farming perk will be your greatest asset. ![]() You don't need Mines nearly as much as the Artificer. Make sure you craft alot of potions and be prepared to use them because otherwise you will have a hard time with winning tough battles since you can't create glyphs to buff your units like the Artificer can or straight up create units like the Necromancer can. You can use potions to for example summon units during battle which is very powerful or significantly buff your own units or weaken enemy units, make them vulnerable to certain damage types, heal units and more. ![]() ![]() If you hoard too much then you won't have alot of fun with playing Alchemist.
